Brow Touch-Ups

Touch-up timing is personal. Many people like to refresh their brows before they look noticeably faded, while others wait a little longer. After I see how your brows have healed and learn about your skin and routine, I will suggest a timing window that makes sense for you.

Yes, coming back for a top-up is usually shorter and more focused than your initial appointment. We are working with an existing shape and healed strokes, so I only add what is needed. That means less mapping time and a more targeted session.

Most people feel only mild discomfort. I apply topical numbing before I start, and can reapply during the appointment if needed. You may feel light scratching or vibration, but it should not be painful. If anything feels too intense, you can tell me and I will adjust.

Minor tweaks are possible, but a touch-up is not meant for a full shape change. At a touch-up we refine and refresh, keeping your core design. If you want a completely different style or structure, we will discuss whether a new set or correction treatment is more appropriate.

If your previous work was done by another artist, your first visit with me will likely be a full treatment or Brow Correction & Camouflage, not a simple touch-up. Old pigment and unknown colours, as well as scar patterns, need extra assessment. I will review clear photos before confirming what is safe.

Touch-up results last until your skin naturally breaks the pigment down again. Exactly how long that takes depends on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products and aftercare. I will give you realistic expectations based on your brows, not a generic promise.

There is minimal downtime. You may have mild redness and tenderness, then some flaking as your brows heal. You will need to keep the area dry, avoid heavy sweating, and skip brow makeup until the top layer has healed.

Pricing is transparent: the 6-Week Perfecting Session is $375 and the 3-Month Refresh is $475, plus a $150 mobile surcharge within Calgary and $250 for locations outside the city. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full pricing details are listed on the Pricing page.

Often, yes, but this is closer to correction than a simple touch-up. If your brows have turned very warm, cool or ashy, I may recommend colour correction techniques instead of just adding more of the same pigment. Clear, well-lit photos will help me guide you before we book.
