Microblading, when properly numbed, usually feels like light scratching or pressure, not like a deep, burning tattoo. You may feel more in some areas than others, especially near the tail where the skin is thinner and closer to the bridge of your nose.

You can still talk and breathe during the appointment, and many people relax once they feel the rhythm of the strokes. The most common description is tapping or scratching as I make each stroke and some tightness in the area afterwards, similar to a sunburn.
You should not feel intense, sharp pain the whole way through. If you do, the numbing needs to be adjusted and we pause.

In general, aftercare includes avoiding heavy sweating and swimming for a short time, keeping your brows away from harsh skincare, and not picking, scratching, or peeling any flaking skin. Your brows will go through stages from darker at first to some flaking and lightening, then settling into their true colour.
