At Brows by Cher in Calgary, I focus on semi-permanent techniques that fade softly over time, so your brows can be adjusted as your face and style evolve.
How long do brow tattoos last?⌄
Brow tattoos fade gradually and hold their look for a good stretch before you need a refresh. How long they last depends on your skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and the technique used. During your consultation we talk through what to expect for your brows and when a touch-up might make sense.
Does brow permanent makeup hurt?⌄
Most clients describe only mild discomfort. I apply a topical numbing cream before starting and can reapply during the appointment if needed. You may feel light scratching or pressure, but the goal is always to keep you as comfortable as possible while I work.
Is microblading or powder ombré better for me?⌄
It depends on your skin, your natural brow hair, and the look you like. Microblading suits those who want very natural, hair-like strokes. Powder ombré works well for clients who like a softly filled-in makeup look or who have oily, mature, or sensitive skin. During your consult I will recommend the best option for you.
Can you fix my old brow tattoo?⌄
In many cases, yes. I offer brow correction and camouflage for old, faded, or oddly coloured brows. Depending on the depth, colour, and shape of your existing brows, I may suggest colour correction, reshaping, or, in some cases, referral for removal first. Clear photos help me judge what is possible before we book.
What is healing like after brow permanent makeup?⌄
Expect your brows to look bolder and darker in the first few days, then soften as they heal. Some flaking or light peeling is normal. I provide detailed aftercare and check-in messages, so you know what is normal and when to reach out. Following aftercare closely helps your brows heal clean and even.
Do you offer mobile brow services across all of Calgary?⌄
Yes. Brows by Cher is fully mobile within Calgary, with a surcharge based on distance. I travel to an agreed location, set up a professional treatment space, and pack everything out when we are done. If you prefer, you can also book into one of my rotating salon and spa pop-ups.
