◉  Immediately after your treatment, you may be slightly red and swollen in the treatment area for a few hours.

◉  For the first 3-6 days following your initial treatment, your eyebrows will appear larger, darker and sharper than they will when they are fully healed. You can expect to see them 40% lighter once they heal. Healing time is typically 10-14 days.

◉  Your initial treatment may not guarantee your desired outcome; this is why I recommend booking 1-3 treatments to achieve a full, bright, beautiful eyebrow. You must wait at least eight weeks after your initial treatment to come in for your touch-up once the skin has fully healed.

◉  In complicated cases, you may require additional touch-up’s. Cases include: oily skin, colour correction, old tattoo removal, camouflage, scar tissue, iron disorders, etc. Please refer to the touch-up tier for touch up pricing.

◉  Although your eyebrows will appear to be fully healed after ten days, the skin is still repairing for up to eight weeks after the treatment, therefore, avoid exfoliating or irritating the treated area during this period.

◉  Two to three hours after your treatment, splash cold water on your eyebrows. Then use sterile cotton pads which will be provided to gently remove any water or discharge. It is important to discard the cotton balls after use – DO NOT RE USE THEM. Once you have gently patted them dry with the cotton ball, gently apply the aftercare product (Cicaplast) with sterile Q-tips.

◉  After the initial ‘cold-water splash’ do your best to not get your eyebrows wet for the next 10-14 days. This includes saunas, hot yoga, fitness activities, steam rooms / baths and any activity that will cause you to perspire. Otherwise this can cause damage to the tattoo and can result in pigment not absorbing into the skin.

◉  Maintain moisture on your eyebrows with the aftercare product only. With a clean Q-tip and or clean hands apply a pea size amount one - two times a day.  Use your discretion, if your eyebrows are dry just apply enough product to moisten them.  If they still visibly have product on, there is no need to apply more. Too much product will also cause the scab to lift prematurely and hinder the healing process.

◉  Never wipe the aftercare product off of your eyebrows: this can cause the scab to come off too soon, always let it absorb in a timely manner.

◉  Avoid soaps and facial cleansers on your eyebrows until the scab falls off naturally. I recommend using gentle face wipes to remove makeup and cleanse your face daily as needed.

◉  You want the eyebrow scabbing to last as long as possible: this process is what locks the pigment into your skin.

◉  After fully healed, enjoy the freedom of worry-free swimming, yoga, beach days, sleeping-in, and exercising.

◉  Use SPF 50 Sunscreen on eyebrows and tattoos to avoid fading.

◉  Tattoo ink is 100% vegan and water based which the body slowly absorbs, therefore fading will naturally occur. To maintain your tattoo I recommend an annual touch-up with me after the initial brow treatment.

◉  If you are planning to have laser treatment, please tell your technician to avoid your eyebrows. Laser may cause the pigment to darken. Always wait a minimum of two weeks in between botox and microblading or powder ombre treatments so your skin can fully heal.
